How do I start a charging session?
Once you become an Ivy member, you can start a charging session in three different ways:
RFID card: Tap your card on the RFID reader.
QR code scan: Scan the QR code on the charger, enter your credit card info if using this payment method, select your charging port, and tap Start session to begin.
Mobile app: Once you're logged into the Ivy app, select the charger ID, choose your charging port, and tap Start session.
Can I pay for a charging session with my credit card at your stations?
Yes! As long as you have data or a Wi-Fi connection, just follow the steps below:
- Scan the QR code on the charger with your mobile device.
- Follow the onscreen steps and then enter your credit card information.
- Tap Start session on the Charger page.
After each transaction, you’ll receive an email receipt with a detailed breakdown of your charging session. If you want to track your full charging history, monthly subtotals and payment history, use the mobile app.
Note: Each charging session is pay-per-use. A $30 pre-authorization will be applied at the start of the session to ensure sufficient funds for the charge. After the session is complete, any unused amount is refunded. If the session cost exceeds the pre-authorization, the difference will be charged separately.
