When you purchase Ivy Home Complete, your home charging solution comes with a professional installation so you don’t need to worry about this. We have partnered with ESA-certified Licensed Electrical Contractors that will complete the installation for you in a safe and timely manner.

We have partnered with ESA-certified Licensed Electrical Contractors that will ensure that your home installation is reliable and seamless. In addition, all installations are backed by a 3-year warranty.

How much will my installation cost?

In order to get the best possible estimate, please complete our Ivy Home application and receive an estimate straight to your inbox. Ivy Home includes hardware and installation at one cost, plus a 3-year warranty.

How do I schedule my installation?

After completing your Ivy Home application, our certified installation partner will start building your estimate. Once complete, they will send you the estimate for your review. If you approve, our installation partner will be in touch to schedule your installation.

Where does Ivy provide installation services?

Ivy's installation services cover the entire province of Ontario. To see if we can assist you, simply submit an application for an estimate. We've successfully completed installations in various places like Toronto, Kitchener, London, Sault Ste. Marie, Woodstock, Ottawa, Niagara, Hamilton, Oshawa, Cobourg, Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Newmarket, Aurora, Guelph, and Brantford. Do I need a permit?

Adding a 240V electrical appliance—like an EV charging station—can require a permit from your local jurisdiction. Depending on where you live, permitting processes can vary widely. In addition to the permit fee, the cost may include the contractor’s time in creating and presenting documentation to your local building department and inspector.

To simplify your experience, our installation partner will handle all required permitting and inspections at no additional cost.

What if my panel is full or I do not have the electrical capacity to add a charger?

If your panel is unable to handle the new charging load, or the space to add a new 2-pole breaker, our certified installation partner can upgrade your panel to provide additional capacity. Please note that upgrades would require a surcharge, and this additional cost would be reviewed and approved by you before proceeding with the installation.

How soon can I get the Ivy Home Smart EV Charger installed?

Once you approve the estimate, our installation partner will contact you to arrange the installation. While we cannot guarantee a specific installation date, most of our customers are able to schedule it within a few days after approving the estimate.

Can I install Ivy Home myself?

The Ivy Home Complete service is installed by ESA-certified Licensed Electrical Contractors. Electrical changes in your home can be dangerous to attempt without the required knowledge and tools. With our professional installers, you will be charging in no time.
