The challenge.
The Township of Aurora, Ontario, recognized the growing demand of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure to support the number of EVs on the road. Facing the challenge of limited charging stations, the municipality decided to choose a partner to provide widespread access to EV charging.
The solution.
Ivy Charging Network stepped in with a solution - Charging-as-a-Service. We installed 32 level 2 destination chargers (approx. 7.2 kW), at 6 different locations within the municipality. The charging stations were made available for public use, allowing anyone passing through the area to conveniently charge their electric vehicles before heading to their destination.
